Corah Ohmeier is an independent journal for Car & Automotive. Clear guides for drivers, written by people who work on cars, not by a marketing department.
Who we are
We are a small team of writers, mechanics and researchers who got tired of automotive content that repeats a press release and calls it a review. Corah Ohmeier started as a shared notebook of workshop notes and buying checks. Today it reaches readers who want the specifications, the trade-offs and the real cost in one place.
We are not a media giant, and we do not want to be. A small team means every guide is written by someone who has done the job or spoken to somebody who has. Every correction reaches a human who can fix it the same day.
Our mission
We help drivers understand their cars without the noise. Every week we publish free guides on Motor Racing, Car Detailing, Tire Technology, Fuel Systems and Classic Cars: real 2026 figures, dated sources, clear verdicts and steps you can act on.
That means fewer miracle claims and more receipts. When we say a coating lasts a certain time, we say under what conditions. When we say a part fails, we explain the symptom and the test. The guides are free because readers trust them, not because a supplier paid for them.
Editorial standards
No sponsored picks, no pay-to-rank lists. We use primary sources, disclose relationships, and correct mistakes in public within 48 hours. Technical figures come from manufacturer documentation, standards bodies and our own workshop checks, never from a press release alone. If a claim fails verification, we say so.
We do not accept payment for coverage. If a company sends unsolicited material, we either return it or mention it in the article. Any affiliate link is labelled, and it never decides whether a product or a story appears, or how it is ranked.
The team

Between us we have rebuilt engines, prepped track cars, corrected paint and talked owners out of more bad purchases than we can count. That experience is the only credential that matters here.
